Sujata Wirsching is heading the Unit of Luxembourg Governmental Relations and Lead Digital Finance in Group Regulatory Strategy and is working on regulatory position building, outreach activities as well as internal analysis on different regulatory initiatives for the business units. She is dealing mainly with post-trade and cross-divisional topics (Digital Finance, MiCA, DORA, T+1 shortening the settlement cycle, CSDR, DBG trends), and the participation in associations e.g. ECSDA, FESE Chair of Digital Finance Task Force, Bitkom and WFE Working Committee).
Before joining Deutsche Börse Group in 2007 she worked for the “National and International Financial Markets and Currency Policy” directorate at the Federal Ministry of Finance in Berlin. After graduating in Economics from Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg she gained a “Master of European Studies” from the Center for European Integration Studies in Bonn.
